The Oddities & Curiosities Expo is a travelling oddities event. Vendors showcase wet specimens, taxidermy, animal bones, antiques, weird jewelry, unusual art, and all-around bizarre items. Local artisans and entertainers can be found at each event – no two events are the same!
Taxidermy classes are also offered at each event for an additional $200 fee.
Calgary Horror Con is a gathering for the community of fans who love all forms of horror – including cinema, literature, live performance, and art. From the initial idea sprung a grassroots movement by a group of volunteers, and the support of amazing local Alberta talent. The convention consists of celebrity guests, vendors, panels and an international film festival. The Calgary Horror Con Ltd. is a registered as Non-Profit.
Founded in 2011, Niagara Falls Comic Con is Canada’s premiere celebration of all things pop culture. Guests explore over 200,000 square feet of exhibitors, vendors, artists, celebrities, memorabilia, workshops, video gaming and more, including The Falls Horror Fest and special events such as free Q&As, seminars and a cosplay contest. NFCC also features more than 50 celebrity and comic guests from a wide variety of pop culture fandoms.
Presented annually by Rue Morgue Magazine, Frightmare in the Falls is an intimate and interactive horror festival. The event features over 50,000 square feet of vendors, panels, displays, and more. The event attracts a wide variety of horror, sci-fi, and fantasy celebrities – perfect for any autograph collector.
