DESCRIPTION:Flashback Weekend is Chicago’s largest and longest running horror convention (held annually during August in Rosemont\, IL) and is dedicated to the preservation of the big screen theatrical horror film\nexperience. In 2007 Flashback Weekend saved and restored the historic Midway Drive-In located in Dixon\, IL. The Midway Drive-In now holds 35mm Drive-In horror film fests during April and Sept\, and first run films during the summer.

Participants will celebrate price\, horror\, and scaring in an accepting and welcoming environment. \nProfits will be donated to various LGBTQ youth organizations. \nThe event features vendor booths\, celebrity guests\, seminars\, and workshops. A Saturday night Awards Ceremony will present the HAH Legacy Award HAH Haunter of the Year Award\, and the Jesse McDonald HAH Memorial Award.
