Since my days curating ScareLA\u2019s screening room, I have loved watching creative films from around the world. Short films are a wonderful way to start out as a filmmaker and demonstrate a proof of concept for longer works. It is much harder than you\u2019d think to convey a coherent story in a short amount of time! The Listening<\/em> (Directed by David O. Perkins) had its Los Angeles premiere at<\/span> Screamfest 2019<\/a>. This tongue-in-cheek horror comedy was a hit with the audience and continues to make me laugh each time I see it. Anyone who has ever yelled at the screen when characters make stupid decisions in a horror movie will enjoy this fun little short.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
