Daddy could you check outside and tell me he&#8217;s alright.&#8221;<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">Every time I hear these words and imagine the confusion and fear of a small child who has yet to fully understand the consequences of his\/her actions, I tear up. I cannot even begin to imagine what a parent would feel upon hearing this from their child.<\/span><\/p><div class=\"copy-paste-block\"><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">Adding to the haunting message is the statistic presented in the music video: every 3 hours a child is killed by a gun. While the song itself sends shivers up my spine for its morbid perspective, this statistics scare me even more.<\/span><\/div><div class=\"copy-paste-block\">\u00a0<\/div><div class=\"copy-paste-block\"><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">Gun violence is certainly a hot-button issue, but this creepy song does shine light on it, showing that the issue was close to the singer&#8217;s heart.<\/span><\/div><div class=\"copy-paste-block\">\u00a0<\/div><div class=\"copy-paste-block\"><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">No matter where you stand on gun issues, the deaths of innocent children is horrifying.
