Trace a pumpkin on the paper so that the design edge is along the folded edge. Cut out the pumpkin &#8211; but be sure to leave the folded edge uncut. The pictures are for a Christmas card version, but if you leave off the Santa hat, it is a beautiful Halloween bat.\u00a0<\/p><p>For this one I created a template &#8211; which is especially useful if you are making 60+ cards. I traced the outline of a bat on some thick paper and cut it out. I then traced the template on a piece of scrap paper and folded it to make sure the wings crossed the bat&#8217;s body properly when closed. I adjusted the template as needed. Once happy with it, I took my template and traced it on my black construction paper. Since I was making a lot of these cards, I also made templates for the bat belly, ears, and mouth. I traced them on red paper and cut them out. The eyes were just hole-punched white paper.<\/p><p>Next, I outlined all the pieces in black sharpie and glued them on the bat body. I used a bone file to crease the wings three times for that bat-like fold.\u00a0<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-38ab9e3
