The Prey (directed by James Webber) takes place on Halloween night. Mel and her boyfriend drive home from a lackluster Halloween party, arguing about Mel’s lack of enthusiasm for the holiday. Tired of the fighting, Mel ditches her ride and opts to walk home alone, but she soon learns that she has attracted the attention of a shifty looking young man. As he begins to follow her the night takes a turn for the worse. Starring Rebecca Van Cleave (Game of Thrones, The Royals), Sam Gittins (Howl, Ripper Street), and James Alexandrou (Eastenders) The Prey is an urban horror with added bite!
This short film was created as part of the Springhead Film Company, a London based filmmaking collective specializing in
narrative film projects and creative video content.
It was featured at Screamfest Horror Film Festival 2015 and at the ScareLA 2016 Screening Room in the Screamfest Horror Film Festival block. You can now view it on the Crypt TV Youtube channel.
