Sleeping with the Fishes Photo Shoot

In this “Sleeping with the Fishes” photo shoot, photographer Moriah Burton captured some fantastically creepy images.

Using the “Sleeping with the Fishes” lighted tombstone from Target (2020 Halloween season) we transformed my living room into this underwater black void. I had fun finally getting to rest in peace in my silky green nightgown. My horror-themed plushies and ghost pillowcase also helped create a fun vibe for the photos. We used a Neewer LED light and a Canon camera for the images. All photos were edited with pixlr.com.

I Finally Got to Rest in Peace.
Sweet Dreams and Pleasant Nightmares
Listening for Things that Go Bump in the Night
Dream a Little Dream of Me

This was the first photo shoot we tried with my Canon camera and Neewer light. We were a little heavy-handed with the lighting and have since bought softer lighting to supplement the main LED floodlight. Even though much could be improved, I am proud of our first try for stylized photos.
