Crypticon Minneapolis

Since 2006 Crypticon Minneapolis has brought the stars of horror, sci-fi, and fantasy together with their fans. The event promises to have something for everyone – from haunters to cosplayers, pop culture fans to nerds.

 

Crypticon Seattle

Crypticon Seattle is an annual fan event celebrating all things creepy & supernatural. With a focus on supporting the arts and encouraging participation, some of their most popular yearly events are the film festival, writing contest, art contest, and costume contest.Their event also hosts panels, parties, and a menagerie of vendors on their show floor.

Sister events take place in Minneapolis and Kansas City, Missouri.

CreepyCon

This three-day convention in Knoxville, Tennessee celebrates all things horror and Halloween. The event features a lively show floor, performances, panels, and more.

Cinema Wasteland

Cinema Wasteland specializes in Drive-In movies, posters, & collectibles from the late 1950’s through the 1980’s. They host a bi-annual expo in the Ohio region each spring & autumn. The event includes celebrity guests, Q&A sessions, special events, and a dealers room filled with movie memorabilia, toy, t-shirts, and more.

 

Cinema Wasteland

Chiller Theater

For over 30 years, Chiller Theater Toy, Model, and Film Expo has hosted celebrities, vendors, and costume parties. Their celebrity guests span the horror, sci-fi, and classic film/television genres. Chiller Theater expos occur twice yearly.

Carolina Fear Fest

Celebrate all things horror with this fan convention in Raleigh, North Carolina. Carolina Fear Fest is hosted by Arctic Pumpkin Productions, an event management company based in Fayetteville, North Carolina – which also produces “The Devil’s Playground” haunted attraction each Fall.

Monsterpalooza 2015

Monsterpalooza 2015

March 27th-29th, Monsterpalooza returns to the Mariott Burbank Hotel and Convention center. Prepare for a weekend of Monsters, Celebrities, and Amazing Art.

Tickets run $30 per day or $70 for a weekend pass and can be purchased at the door on the days of the event.

The show hours are:

Friday: 6:00 p.m. -11:00 p.m.

Saturday: 11:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Sunday: 11:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

The show will feature a variety of Southern California’s best horror vendors – with artwork, DVDs, posters, props, makeup effects, and more.

Special Guests include George Romero, Linda Blair, and many more. Some special guests only attend one day of the show, so be sure to check the schedule.

This is the perfect way to spend a weekend for any horror lover. I hope to see you there!
