Day 27 of the #Emilys100DaysOfHalloween challenge:

Day 27 of the #Emilys100DaysOfHalloween challenge: Draw a Halloween Picture. My artistic talents reside in photography, film, and papercraft. That, however, does not stop me from picking up a sketch book now and then. If there is one thing this 100 Days of Halloween challenge can tach, I hope that it is this: you can make art just for yourself. It does not have to be “good”. You do not have to turn it into a job. Practice can hone your skills over time, but it is also okay to just dabble or be happy with where you are at. Here are a few of my amateur drawings from 2007-2026.

I love getting new spooky sheet music books and spending an afternoon practicing on my keyboard. These two books are ones I enjoy for their easy arrangements of classic Halloween songs.

Day 23 of the #Emilys100DaysOfHalloween challenge: Make a Spooky Cheese Board. Here are some of my favorite spreads I have created for parties. My go-to cheese is a brie wedge. I love to pair it with blackberries, charcuterie (especially prosciutto), and gore-met – I mean, gourmet crackers. From there I add other items depending on the scale of the platter and what interests me at the store. No party is complete without a fun, themed tray!
