Okay social media hive mind. I am looking for some Okay social media hive mind. I am looking for some spooky art to go in my entrance hall (aka "shipping & receiving"). I think something more black and white will work best - pen & ink, photography, paint, etc. - but maybe a carved dark wood piece may work as well. I prefer original artwork and have a decent budget for the right piece, but a signed print can work for photography or digital art. It does get a fair amount of sunlight (though not direct), so I don't want to put any of my animation cels there.

Picture No. 2 is of one photography print I really thought would work (from Casell Bergen Gallery, New Orleans), but my Honey-Bunny and roommate have both vetoed it, saying that having "State Mental Hospital" be the first thing visitors are greeted with does not feel welcoming.

Do you have any artists whose works you feel would work in this space?
