Midwest Haunters Convention

Midwest Haunters Convention is a haunt industry trade show that is open to the public. The event is known for its networking opportunities, haunt tours, and party. There is a tradeshow floor with a variety of vendors – many of which offer cash & carry options – and an education program led by industry leaders. While the event is smaller than the flagship Transworld event, this is a fantastic opportunity to meet other haunters and strengthen your haunt skills.

The Oddities & Curiosities Expo – Chicago

The Oddities & Curiosities Expo is a travelling oddities event. Vendors showcase wet specimens, taxidermy, animal bones, antiques, weird jewelry, unusual art, and all-around bizarre items. Local artisans and entertainers can be found at each event – no two events are the same!

Taxidermy classes are also offered at each event for an additional $200 fee.

The Oddities Flea Market – Chicago

The Oddities Flea Market features artisans and vendors who specialize in medical history ephemera, anatomical curiosities, natural history items, osteological specimens, taxidermy, home décor, jewelry, one of a kind art, bizarre flair, and more. Transworld’s Halloween & Attractions Show

Transworld’s Halloween & Attractions show is known for its large selection of Halloween industry exhibitors. This annual trade show features a show floor, class programming, costume party, and haunt tours. The event is not open to the general public – attendees must register and submit credentials in order to attend.

Haunted America Conference

The Haunted America Conference was the first established ghost conference in the United States. This event features new and returning speakers on ghosts, hauntings, the paranormal, and the unexplained — plus how-to workshops, ghost hunts, special events, haunted tours, and much more

Flashback Weekend – Chicago Horror Con

Flashback Weekend is Chicago’s largest and longest running horror convention (held annually during August in Rosemont, IL) and is dedicated to the preservation of the big screen theatrical horror film
experience. In 2007 Flashback Weekend saved and restored the historic Midway Drive-In located in Dixon, IL. The Midway Drive-In now holds 35mm Drive-In horror film fests during April and Sept, and first run films during the summer.
